Chris and I went to see Mockingjay Part 1 at the Alamo Drafthouse. The theater was a little weird but I had the best milkshake of my life and the movie was pretty good. I think the next movie will be better.
A highlight from this month was Greg coming to visit! We had a wonderful time with him and were sad to see him leave. These are some of the fun things we did while Greg was here:
SPURS GAME!!
We also saw Interstellar. This picture pretty much sums up what I took out of that movie.
We were so glad Greg came down to visit with us! It was a great time and I hope he comes again soon :)
So, of course I couldn't write a November blog without mentioning Thanksgiving! Our friends, Malea and Colton invited us over for Thanksgiving dinner with some other friends of ours. I was in charge of bringing the corn, rolls, mashed potatoes and dessert! I decided to make some cake pops for dessert. I used holiday red and green velvet cake mix with white frosting and white chocolate coating. Oh, and I sprinkled some candy cane crumbs on top!
Thanksgiving was really fun :) After we ate the delicious food, we played some games and went for a walk on the walking trial. We did some Black Friday shopping later that night which wasn't too bad. We just went to Walmart and got a few things.
So, I love Thanksgiving, I really do. However, one reason I love it so much is because afterwards I can officially decorate for Christmas and watch Christmas movies and listen to Christmas songs! (I've been watching Christmas movies and listening to Christmas songs on the radio a few days prior to Thanksgiving but Chris refused to participate but now he can't say I'm crazy anymore) Chris and I went to Hobby Lobby and got some cool Christmas decorations for 50 percent off. We don't have much room for a Christmas Tree but I refuse to let a Christmas pass without one in my house, even if we won't actually be in Texas for Christmas. We bought a 4' tree and love it. This is before I fluffed it up more and added some sparkly silver ribbon.
I will post more pictures of decorations and things on my Christmas Blog which I will make soon. Anyways. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

Greg bought us all tickets to the Spurs v. Kings game the day after Thanksgiving. It was super fun! Oh, and they won :)

ALAMO AND RIVERWALK
We spent a day showing Greg the Riverwalk and the Alamo. We actually got to go inside and take a tour of the Alamo this time! Everything was really busy because they were having a tree lighting and Christmas parade that night.
We also saw Interstellar. This picture pretty much sums up what I took out of that movie.
